Meet Our Founder
Hello! I’m Rachel. A mom of 3, wife, veteran, and accidental interior designer. At 22, I joined the military and spent the next 20 years doing something totally unrelated to throw pillows. This rewarding career taught me grit, service, and shaped my perspective on everything. Throughout moves around the world (military life = lots of cardboard boxes), I found my niche for turning chaotic, busy homes into cozy, stylish spaces that still made room for real life. Not quiet (let’s be honest) but relaxing, welcoming, and practical.
Somewhere between deployments and playdates, my paint color obsession turned into knocking down walls and full remodels. Before I knew it, friends were saying, “Hey, can you help me make my place not look like a Pinterest-before-and-after ‘before’ shot?” And somehow, that turned into a business I’m wildly passionate about.
These days, I live on the Connecticut shoreline with my husband, three kids, and a dog who knows good furniture when he sits on it (especially if it’s performance fabric).
